Mark Jackson

    Biografia:

    Mark is an English actor who was born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on the 23rd August to British parents, Jill Cornelius a nurse from Coventry and Andy Jackson an engineer from Birkenhead. He also has a younger sister called Danielle who works as an environmental professional. Between the ages of two and ten his family lived in Brunei before heading to Caldy on the Wirral, England where he attended The Birkenhead School. Then, when Mark was 14, the Jacksons moved back to Holland where he enrolled at The British School in The Netherlands, Voorschoten. It was here that he acquired his love of the stage, performing in various productions and Europe-wide competitions. This was followed by a BA in English and Drama at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. In 2003 Mark began his training as an actor with three years at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Mark plays series regular Isaac in The Orville (2017) for Twentieth Century Fox Television and Fuzzy Door Productions opposite Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Scott Grimes, Halston Sage, J. Lee, Peter Macon and Penny Johnson Jerald. Other screen work includes performing with Paul Nicholas and Steve Huison in The Royal Today (2008) and various short films such as Peppermint (2013) and The Kissing Booth (2013). His extensive stage credits include appearing with Celia Imrie and Robert Glenister in the award-winning Noises Off at London's Old Vic Theatre, the international tour of One Man Two Guvnors with Rufus Hound, performing opposite Robert Powell in Agatha Christie's Black Coffee and playing Captain Stewart in the National Theatre's acclaimed production of War Horse by Michael Morpurgo at the New London Theatre in London's West End. Mark is also an accomplished voice over artist.
